Senior Sales Executive - 1 Position
Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven, relationship-oriented Senior Sales Executive to join our growing team. This role is responsible for developing strategic accounts and expanding ESAS’s presence within the residential, C&I, and specialty/OEM sectors. You’ll lead sales efforts within an assigned territory or vertical, working with installers, EPCs, developers, resellers, and other partners to deliver high-impact solutions tailored to their unique needs.
Although utility-scale distribution is not ESAS’s core focus, we occasionally support small utility-related purchases through our ESAS Marketplace — a channel this role may interact with periodically, but not as a primary responsibility.
Duties
- Build and execute a strategic sales plan to meet revenue goals and expand market share in your assigned territory or vertical.
- Develop strong, consultative relationships with decision-makers in the residential, C&I, and specialty segments.
- Identify opportunities, qualify leads, and deliver tailored proposals that showcase ESAS’s full suite of value-added services.
- Guide customers through quoting, product selection, pricing, lead times, and project coordination.
- Track and manage pipeline activity in Odoo CRM, providing accurate sales forecasts and timely updates.
- Collaborate closely with Logistics, Engineering, and Accounting to ensure exceptional customer experience and project fulfillment.
- Represent ESAS at trade shows, regional events, and customer visits to build relationships and identify market opportunities.
- Mentor junior sales staff, contribute to internal knowledge sharing, and help improve team performance.
- Provide insights on market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to help inform product development, pricing strategy, and marketing initiatives.
Skills
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience in solar and/or energy storage, with proven success in residential and C&I markets.
- Experience working with EPCs, installers, developers, ESCOs, resellers/distributors, or OEMs.
- Strong understanding of solar PV components, including modules, inverters, batteries, racking, and BOS.
- Ability to serve as a trusted advisor, aligning ESAS’s value proposition with customer goals and outcomes.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Odoo preferred) and disciplined sales pipeline management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-starter who can thrive in both independent and team-based virtual environments.
Nice to Have
- Experience managing high-value accounts (>$500k/year) or contributing to strategic account growth.
- Knowledge of tools like Helioscope, PVSyst, or PVWatts for reviewing or estimating BOMs.
- Comfort supporting small utility buyers for spot-market transactions via ESAS Marketplace (not required but helpful).
- Cross-functional familiarity with logistics coordination or engineering-supported sales.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary + Uncapped Commission
- Health Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision)
- 401(k) with Company Match
- Ongoing Training and Career Growth Opportunities
- Remote or Hybrid Flexibility (based on territory and role)
